How Capture Cards Work

A capture card takes the HDMI signal from a console, camera or second computer and sends it to your PC or Mac over USB, where OBS, Zoom or any recording app sees it as a webcam.

Pass-through (loop-out): you play on the TV with no delay while the computer records.
Capture resolution: 1080P 60fps covers most streams; 4K 60Hz cards are for high-end recording.
Switch 2: Hagibis capture docks and cables combine TV mode and capture in one piece.
