FAQs
❓ Power Warning on DELL / HP Computers When Using Third-Party Chargers:
📢 Due to some proprietary PD protocols used by DELL and HP, a low-power or low-voltage charging warning may appear when using third-party chargers. This does not affect normal charging performance.
❓ Resolution and Refresh Rate Notice:
📢 1. Port Requirements
• HDMI 1 supports up to 4K@60Hz, while HDMI 2 supports up to 4K@120Hz. In multi-monitor extended mode, the maximum output is 4K@60Hz. To achieve the highest refresh rate, HDMI 2 should be used.
📢 2. Cable and Protocol
• Ensure that the cable and port meet the required specifications: DP ports must support DP 1.4, and HDMI ports must support HDMI 2.0 or above. Using high-quality certified cables ensures stable signal transmission.
📢 3. Computer Specifications
• Confirm that your computer's graphics card and ports support 4K@60Hz / 4K@120Hz output. Insufficient performance may result in reduced resolution, unstable display, or screen lag.
📢 4. DSC (Display Stream Compression)
• Both the computer and monitor must support DSC. Some devices automatically enable DSC in extended display mode, while others may require manual activation to achieve high resolution and refresh rate output.
❓ Why is wireless charging slow, intermittent, or not charging my phone?
- Slow Charging
📢 1. Phone must support Qi2 wireless charging
• Ensure your phone supports Qi2 wireless charging. Phones without Qi2 compatibility cannot charge wirelessly.
📢 2. Charging with a phone case
• Charging with a protective case may reduce efficiency and cause the phone to heat up. To protect the device, the system may automatically reduce charging power. This is normal behavior.
📢 3. Internal charging protection
• When the battery is nearly full, the phone may automatically reduce charging power to protect battery health. This is normal behavior.
- Intermittent / No Charging
📢 1. Alignment
• Ensure that the phone's magnetic charging coil is aligned with the wireless charging module. Misalignment may trigger the protection mechanism and cause charging to stop.
📢 2. Phone case or metal interference
• Thick cases or cases with metal rings may affect wireless charging efficiency and trigger FOD (Foreign Object Detection) protection. It is recommended to use a thinner case or charge the phone without a case.
❓ What are the requirements to use this product?
📢 Make sure your device's USB-C port is full-featured, supporting charging, data transfer, and video output. If it is not, some features (like screen mirroring) may not work.
📢 Full-featured USB-C port: Supports charging, data transfer, and video output. Maximum data transfer speed: 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 standard), backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1. Non-full-featured Type-C ports may only support charging or data transfer.
❓ Why doesn't the HDMI port support screen casting?
📢 Select the correct HDMI input on your monitor/TV (e.g., LG: Settings → Input → Input List → HDMI 1 or 2).
📢 Ensure proper device setup according to Display Instructions for the corresponding resolution and refresh rate.
📢 Some non-standard monitors may be incompatible.
❓ Why is the screen resolution lower than advertised?
📢 This product supports DP 1.2 and 1.4 standards, but the maximum resolution depends on your device's hardware (laptop, HDMI cable, monitor). If your device does not support the advertised resolution, this product cannot output it.
❓ Why does the product heat up during operation?
📢 It contains charging ICs and video ICs, which generate heat during use. The outer shell has passed safety testing and meets maximum temperature requirements for normal usage.
❓ Why can't my Mac use multiple extended displays?
📢 With macOS, this product supports multi-monitor mirroring only and does not support extended multi-monitor mode. This is because macOS does not support MST (Multi-Stream Transport) for driving multiple independent displays.
❓ Why do multiple external hard drives sometimes fail to transfer data?
📢 Connecting several high-power mechanical hard drives or running this product at full load may exceed its power supply capacity, causing slower transfers or disconnections.
❓ Why don't some devices charge at full speed?
📢 Some devices use proprietary charging protocols that are not compatible with standard PD (Power Delivery) protocols, such as certain Huawei and Xiaomi devices.
❓ Why does the displayed charging power fluctuate during charging?
📢 Charging power varies depending on the device's real-time battery status. The display shows real-time data for reference, not a fixed value.
❓ Why does my laptop show a slow-charging warning?
📢 Some devices use private charging protocols. When charging via a third-party product, a slow-charging notification may appear. Actual charging speed and efficiency remain normal and sufficient for non-gaming laptops.
❓ Why won't some mobile devices charge wirelessly?
📢 Check whether your device supports the Qi wireless charging protocol. This product only supports Qi; it is not compatible with other proprietary wireless charging protocols.
